It takes a special person to fill the boots of a volunteer firefighter. Someone with a desire to do something important for the community. Someone with courage and dedication, who isn't afraid of hard work, and is willing to accept the challenge of a difficult job. It takes a person who considers respect and appreciation reward enough and who is glad to help. We have a very special demand for individuals living or working in our community. We might be able to fit you with a pair of boots.
We realize that firefighting is not for everyone, but we believe that volunteering can be. There is plenty of work to be done on or behind the scenes – including photography, logistical support on large incidents and fundraising activities. With this in mind, we have many capacities one may choose to serve in.
